It is really important to us to work closely with parents/carers in order to create an atmosphere of mutual respect. We are aware that parents know their children better than anyone and respect the role they play as principle carers. Because of this:

• We like to work closely with you to ensure that we are meeting each child’s needs correctly.

• We allow time to talk with you at the start of each day or are happy to make appointments as required.

• Photographs and observations of your child that are used to determine ‘next steps’ will be shared with you and displayed in their ‘Living Diary’.

• We will ask to meet with you twice a year to give feedback on your child’s progress with us.

• We will provide ‘home links’ detailing any areas in which your child will benefit from additional support and be grateful for your feedback.
